I see what you meant by this devotional being a bit familiar to me. I know all about physical exercise. I need to work on my spiritual exercise to get it as good as my physical.
I like the video a lot! I’m a visial person
I’m glad you liked it! You can get your spirit man in as good as your physical. It will take the same amount of time, work and dedication though.
Good post. Reminds me also of Hebrews 12:1- …let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
We exercise physically to remove physical weight so that we can move better. We exercise spiritually, removing spiritual “weight” that slows our spiritual walk with the Lord. If we lay aside those things that hold us back (name your indiscretion) we can much more easily run the race God has before us. Bless you and your calling! Enjoying your posts.
Thank you. Wow! Thanks for bringing in that verse too. We often think of a weight instead of spiritual flabbiness as the Message writes that verse. Thanks for your insight.
