From the Old Testament to the announcement from the angels to the disciples, the story of Jesus’s birth, life, death and resurrection has been called “Good News.” The world is full of enough bad news or fake news. The story of Jesus is logos News” because God sent His Son into the world to restore the relationship that sin separated. It’s Good News because a king was born. It’s also Good News because Jesus conquered death, Hell and the grave. Just like when you have good news, you can’t keep it to yourself. This Good News is the story each of us need to tell because it will save people from their sins and lead them to everlasting life. Don’t keep it inside. Tell someone the Good News today!
Here are some Bible verses on the Good News:
1. So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
Romans 10:17 NLT
2. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
Ephesians 6:15 NLT
3. How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!
Isaiah 52:7 NLT
4. Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
Psalms 96:2 NLT
5. And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
Mark 16:15 NLT
